Founded in 2017, Lake Effect has become a renowned locale in the Salt Lake valley. Our building itself is a historical part of the downtown area. Originally built in 1910 and known as the Hotel Victor, we converted the building into an elegant bar where people can mingle, eat and enjoy live music long into the night. Our aesthetic provides a vintage, classy feel while still embracing a more modern style.
Served within the beautiful, spacious interior of our Salt Lake City bar are delicious foods and unique craft cocktails. Everything we offer is made with incredible attention to detail and only the finest ingredients. Our spirits are carefully selected, our juices are hand-squeezed, syrups are made in-house and our cuisine is expertly prepared. For those who prefer beer and wine, we have over 20 beers on draft and more than 70 bottles of wine to choose from.
In addition to fine food and drink, we promote the local art culture and invite artists to perform on our Lake Effect stage. Almost every day of the week, you can enjoy performances from experienced musicians while enjoying a fine drink, delicious food and good company.
